Description
Konstantin Ivanovich Rudakov. Graphic arts. Erotic pastel. In a variety show. Depicts a kind of walk of a prim gentleman and a half-naked actress in the foyer of an erotic theatre. The precise contours of the drawing grotesquely reveal the dancers massive legs and hips, the silhouette of her figure in a bathing suit with tails, an almost open chest and a pretty face under a colorful hat. This whole paradoxical symbiosis of personalities could only happen in the elusive interior of the variety shows offices, where the artist hints at the doorway with curtains, the opposite wall, the stove and the shadow of the gatekeeper. Paper, dry pastel, ink. Sheet dimensions: 28.5×18.5 cm. Signature at the bottom right.
