Description
Authentic vintage rattle from the Hemba tribe of Democratic Republic of Congo. Carved wood male figure on top and pierced calabash spheres below which traditionally have seeds or other small objects inside for noise. Definite signs of age and use to be cherished. Unique collector’s piece with lots of character.
