Description
A beautifully designed Mid Century armchair is how we best describe this model. This armchair with its special details in the design makes its origins still a bit of a mystery, as it is still not 100% clear which manufacturer or designer is responsible for this unique and beautiful design. Presumably a design by the famous Dutch designer Louis van Teeffelen, on the website maintained by his heirs this model is called the A-series and it is thought that it may indeed be a design by his hand. Condition. Present is a very beautiful and apparently simple but functional chair frame made of, among other things, teak wood with a beautiful warm color. The whole looks “rich” and elegant and, when you look at it a little longer, in addition to being elegant, it can even be called impressively succinct in shape. The condition is very neat, the frames are solid and the upholstery is completely new, a beautiful boucl fabric in ocher yellow, a tribute to the time when this armchair was new, but also widely applicable and completely on trend for today’s popular living styles.
