Description
Super cool, vintage, mid-century side table with magazine rack made of brass, with an upper shelf made of black-colored glass from the 60’s.
Both the upside-down, hairpin-shaped legs, and the magazine rack with four bars below, are made of brass, giving the overall piece a really nice 60’s look.
The top of the legs are designed like handles, enabling one to move it easily if needed or desired.
Piece rests on multi-directional castor wheels, which are all original and functional.
The top glass shelf has no cracks or chips.
The piece is in wonderful, original condition, with some signs of age and previous use consistent for its age, on the body, legs and wheels (see photos) as well as patina of time that only adds to its charm. Some faded areas of color on the top of the handles (see photos:
The overall design has clean lines and the structure itself, is both functional and stable.
It has been gently cleaned, and metal has only been waxed with respect to maintaining the original patina.
Perfect size to optimize space in a small room.
A great, retro piece of dcor, that could be used as a side table, end of couch or otherwise.
