Description
This is a beautiful French porcelain and ormolu wall hanging holy water stoop, Circa 1890 in date. The shaped plaque features a cross above an oval hand painted porcelain plaque, in the manner of KPM, depicting the Madonna, with a lidded holy water stoop below all mounted on a shaped blue velvet mount. This example was probably designed for personal use at home, when people would place them by the front door or in the bedroom. Condition: In excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation.
