This is a set of antique draughtsman’s rules. An English, pine engineer’s instrument set in a mahogany case, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Quality beech with warm biscuit hues and clear ebonised annotations
Each rule numbered in sequence from 10-60, including the small section rules
One rule measures approx 31cm, equivalent to an imperial foot
Marked for Inches, from 1-12 on both edges and in both directions
Maker’s marks for Aston & Mander, London throughout
Personalised with E.N Davies to each piece and to the reverse of the carry case
Case dressed with an inset working lock key present
