This is an antique portrait bust. An English, plaster head, signed by Francis Derwent Wood (1871-1926), dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
Francis Derwent Wood RA was a British sculptor. Elected to the Royal Academy in London in 1920, he also held a position as head of sculpture at the Royal College of Art between 1918 and 1923.
