The dish, thanks to its wonderful decorations, takes on a decorative character.

The name of porcelain comes from the Japanese port of Imari, from where the products were transported to Europe. Imari porcelain was popular in Europe at the end of the 17th century, becoming a must-have in Rococo and later Classicist interiors. The porcelain was imported straight from China. The main importers were the English and the Dutch.
