Description
With it’s twelve jolly little hats, this charming poster by Klitgaard advertised the first Danish release of the fun-filled 1950 family comedy ‘Cheaper by the Dozen,’ starring Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy. Based on the autobiographical book of the same name by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, the film follows two renowned efficiency experts as they attempt to apply their unorthodox efficiency techniques to managing their large brood of twelve children in New Jersey. Printed in Copenhagen by Rasmussen & Nilsson.
Conservation backed on linen. Backing has smoothed and diminished one vertical and three horizontal folds. Light color touching to folds, a 3in. horizontal crease at right edge and to two closed tears at left edge, the largest 1.5in.
