Description
Franco Bastianelli colourful Enamelled bowl for Laurana, Pesaro, Italy, 1960s. Great modernist enamel bowl by Franco Bastianelli for his company Laurana in Pesaro, Italy. Fantastic colours and tones, shifting from blue to orange and gold. On the outside this bowl has a stylish green hue. Bright and radiant, the colours of this bowl make it a stand out piece on your table or desk. It resembles works by enamel master Paolo de Poli. Franco Bastianelli was one of the great Italian enamel artists of his time and made a fantastic range of very decorative enamel products. Very decorative and a great example of the enamel arts in Italy from mid 20th century. Please note we have several enamel pieces from Italy in our collection, ranging from bowls to a decorative mask made by the same artist as this very bowl, Franco Bastianelli.
