Description
The EA 108 office swivel chair is one of the greatest furniture designs of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames designed the armchair in 1958 for the private residence of industrialist J. Irwin Miller. Produced in the 1990s by the legendary Vitra factory in Germany. When constructing the seat, the design pair moved away from the principle of a seat shell, instead stretching a fabric or leather panel between two aluminum stringers to create a taut but flexible seat. The chair has a swivel base. Aluminum elements have been cleaned and polished. The net is in perfect original condition.
