Description
Stunning pair of wall lamps/sconces designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors (‘Gefion’ model, Sweden, 1960s). Textured transparent art glass shades with an organic pattern fixed with two brass knobs to polished brass fixtures. The wall lamps create a beautiful atmosphere (see pictures). Quite heavy, each wall light weights c. 1.8 kg. Beautiful Scandinavian design and high quality.
Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to use (compatible in Europe, US, UK, etc.). Each wall lamp requires 1x E14 light bulb (E12 in the US). LED compatible. Height: 28 cm/11”; width: 12 cm/4.7”; depth (from wall): 7 cm/2.8”. Very good vintage condition. Light wear/patina consistent with age and use on the brass elements.
