Honor Daumier ( 1808-1879) is a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter and sculptor, whose many works offer commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century. Daumier is famous for his satirical commentary on social and political life predominantly through his lithographs of which he produced and he is best known for his caricatures of political figures. Daumiers works are found in many of the worlds leading art museums, including the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Rijksmuseum. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
