Vintage Italian ceramic bowl by Alessio Tasca (1962). A delightful frieze of geometric shapes encircle the piece. The fading colours in yellow and orange simply add even more character to a vintage piece by this world renowned Italian ceramicist. The interior recess of the modestly-sized bowl is a plain creamy white. It is showing its age yet at the same time has magnified in beauty and distinctiveness. That should be the definition of vintage. Perfect as decor in your home or as a practical vide-poche. Maker’s signature on the underside: ‘A. Tasca 62’. In fair overall condition. Tasca is a world renowned prize-winning ceramicist whose creations appear in institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome.
