Description
Refined Louis XVI mirror, composed of a mirror and gilding in perfect condition.
This rectangular mirror is provided with a little wide frame formed by a groove and a string of pearls towards the inside of the mirror. Towards the outside of this frame, a recessed band of dark wood ends in the lower part with a foliage motif accompanied by a pine cone. At the top, two falls composed of foliage are surmounted by a very decorative pediment composed of a base with vertical flutes and above an oval frame receiving a mirror. On the frame, an important ribbon is accompanied on each side by two cords. The longer one goes to the outside of the mirror. We find on each side an important branching composed of leaves falling on the outside.
This mirror delicately worked will arouse interest by its brightness and its presence.
