Description
Abstract Composition is an Original Lithograph realized by Luigi Montanarini in 1973. Limited edition of 100 copies, editor “La Nuova Foglio SPA”. Very good condition on a white cardboard passpartout (70×50 cm). Hand-signed and numbered by the artist with pencil on the lower margin. Luigi Montanarini (22 July 1906 – 7 January 1998) was an Italian painter. The year 1956 marks the beginning of his informal period. He won a purchase award at the fourth edition of the Premio Spoleto. In 1965 he became director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome (where he had been a lecturer since 1956) and a member of UNESCO, positions he held until 1976.
