An Unexpected Visit is an original litograph realized by Marcel Verts in 1920. Good condition for this artist’s proof on a white paper. Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Marcel Verts (Budapest, 10 August 1895 New York 31 October 1961) was a French costume designer and illustrator of Hungarian-Jewish origins. Verts is also responsible for the original murals in the Caf Carlyle in the Carlyle Hotel in New York City, New York and for those in the Peacock Alley in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.
