Personnage sans Tte is an original black and white etching on paper, realized by the artist Antoine Mayo, art name of Malliarakis (1905-1990) Signed in pencil on lower right margin, this is a rare artist’s proof, as the pencil inscription reports on the lower left margin “E.A 7 /10”. From an edition of 10 prints ( artist’s proofs). In excellent condition, this is a wonderful contemporary artwork representing a surreal and macabre man with a wide and dramatic drapery and without his head.
