Description
Meissen porcelain planter, 19th century. XIX Germany
Magnificent Meissen porcelain planter, made in Germany in the 19th century. This decorative piece has a hole to be hung on the wall. The exterior ornament draws powerful attention, which covers the entire piece with great realism. It is a leafy moss from which roses and a very realistic bird emerge. Inside you can see the unmistakable logo of the Meissen house: two crossed swords. This house began production in 1710. Extraordinary collector’s item, perfect as a gift for a special occasion. These types of pieces have enormous value due to the quality of the material that was used. This porcelain was intended exclusively for the nobility.
In the 18th century, Meissen porcelain was commissioned by, among others, the royalty of Russia, France and England, as well as other noble houses in Europe.
