Superb Guariche armchair for Meurop from the 60s, an iconic piece of French design from that era! Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) was a designer recognized for his modernist and functional approach, and he designed several pieces of furniture for different brands, including Meurop, a Belgian company which produced affordable furniture, in large series, in the 1960s. Chrome star base, restored by an artisan upholsterer in a quality black faux leather covering, very good general condition, 360C swivel, molded foam shell to ensure optimal comfort.
