Description
Fantastic freeform vase by Angelo Mangiarotti (1921 2012) in a great blue colour for Fratelli Brambilla Milano. Mangiarotti was a multi talented man and one of the great designers of the 20th century. He is known for his marble tables and lighting design, but he also left his mark in ceramics. During his career he designed several avant garde ceramic vases and sculptures for several companies. In the case of Fratelli Brambilla he made a series of vases in different shapes, sizes and colours. This is a great one in one of its most joyful colours. It shows a really deep blue shine and due to the freeform shape this vase will never bore you. A real quality piece. Great shape and signed underneath.
