Description
Merton of the Movies is a vintage poster realized after Roy Lichtenstein (New York, 1923-1997) in 1968. Screen print on silver cardboard. Publised by H.K.L. Ltd New York and Boston Reference Corlett C61. Good conditions except for a light fold on the lower left margin. Roy Lichtenstein (1923 – 1997) was an American painter, founder and foremost practitioner of Pop art, a movement that countered the techniques and concepts of Abstract Expressionism with images and techniques taken from popular culture.
