Description
This pair of armchairs from the 1950s is a beautiful demonstration of Italian modernist design. They date from the 1950s and display elegant and refined minimalist lines, a geometry of the shapes. In a “driver” format, the seat and the large file are welcoming and very comfortable. The simple structure is made of black metal of square section contrasting with the thickness and heat of the seat in black skai. The armchairs are old and date from the 1950s. They were edited by the Italian firm Formanova. They are low and wide, heated format. The structure is made of black lacquered metal of square section. The traces of oxidation are light. The seat and the backrest are very comfortable, in black skai. The usage marks are rare and discreet. The whole is in very good condition, stable and comfortable. A publisher’s label is still present under one of the pieces.
