All of our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step in cleaning is to tap the rug thoroughly to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent prewash with a pH-neutral soap removes stains. For the main wash, the rug is thoroughly washed by hand a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool fat of the carpet. The first dewatering takes place by means of mechanical pressing and spinning, to let the rugs then dry in a constant air circulation.
