Beautiful Walnut reading table / book stand with many possibilities. It can be used as a side table but also as a real reading table next to a chair or bed. The top is slidable on the leg. The top is also tiltable and adjustable in height. When the top is tilted, a line can be unfolded from the bottom that can hold a book. Also very useful for displaying a book or Bible. Furniture is in perfect functioning condition, beautifully made and special quality. Made by the Carter company from London in the period ca. 1901-1920.
