Beautiful oil painting on board 1920s. A splendid italian landscape at dawn signed by italian artist Vittorio Cavalleri (1860s, 1938s). Perfect for collectors who love landscapes. Excellent pictorial quality. Sold with antique wooden frame. Cavalleri worked mainly as a landscape painter even if he did not disdain genre painting, he treated the portrait less frequently. His artistic making unravels between naturalism and impressionism.
Successful painter, honorary member of the Albertina Academy of Turin and of that of Milan, he was always interested in light, an experience that then led him to a hidden symbolism. His artistic career was studded with numerous researches that directed him to realism, divisionism, symbolism.
He exhibited a lot, both in Turin and in the main Italian and foreign exhibitions. He also won numerous medals.
